Duudlaga Flow is now on iPhone. You can get it from the App Store. Speak Mongolian and it comes back as text. When you have no time to type, just say it.

Duudlaga Flow used to run on macOS and Windows only. Now you can use it on your phone, without sitting down at a computer. Every menu and setting in the app is in Mongolian.

Replying in a work chat, sending a long message on Messenger, writing an email: none of it has to mean slow typing. You can talk your way through your notes after a meeting too. It also helps when an idea hits you while you are driving and you do not want to lose it.

There are two ways to use the app. With Duudlaga Keyboard you write straight into other apps. Or you can keep separate voice notes inside Duudlaga Flow itself.

Speak your way into any app

Duudlaga Keyboard is a system keyboard you add to your iPhone. Set it up once and you can use it in any app that has a text field. What you say goes in right where the cursor is.

Write messages in Messages, Mail, Messenger and other social apps. Take notes in Notes, or say your question into a browser search bar. From a two word reply in a work chat to a long email, it is the same keyboard.

This is not the kind of tool where you talk into a separate window and paste the result. You stay in the app you are writing in. Put the cursor where you need it, switch to Duudlaga Keyboard, and talk.

Set up Duudlaga Keyboard in three steps

You add the keyboard once, in the iOS settings. After that it is ready to use inside other apps.

1. Open Settings on your iPhone and add the Duudlaga Flow keyboard.
2. Turn on Allow Full Access. This permission is what lets your audio be turned into text.
3. Open a text field in any app and tap the globe key once to switch to Duudlaga Keyboard.

After that there is nothing to set up again for every message, chat or email. Tap the globe key and pick Duudlaga Keyboard. Then say what you want to write, the way you normally would.

Choose the form your words come out in

Sometimes you want exactly what you said, word for word. Sometimes you need Latin letters, or you mix Mongolian and English and want tidy Mongolian Cyrillic out of it. Duudlaga Keyboard gives you three options.

• Энгийн (as spoken) writes what you said, the way you said it.
• Латин үсэг (Latin script) puts your speech in Latin letters.
• Монголоор (turned into Mongolian) takes a sentence with English words in it, or a mix of both languages, and puts it in as clear Mongolian Cyrillic.

So if you mix work terms into a chat, Монголоор is a good pick. If you want names, numbers and sentences exactly in the order you said them, Энгийн fits better. Change the option whenever you need to and keep talking.

Keep voice notes inside the app

When you do not need to write into another app, you can make a note right inside Duudlaga Flow. Press the button, start talking, and your words come back as clean text. Read it through and fix whatever needs fixing.

While you edit, you can put the cursor anywhere and carry on speaking from there. That way you can add a sentence in the middle or finish a thought at the end without writing it all again. The main points after a meeting, a to-do list, an idea that came to you on the road: it all goes in one place.

Every note shows up in a single list. You can search it later for the one you want. No more trying to remember which chat or file you wrote it in.

Look back at what you wrote, and at this month

History keeps what you have dictated before. A message you sent yesterday, notes from an earlier meeting, an idea you spoke a minute ago: you can go back to any of it. Finding a piece of text again is easy.

History also shows how many words you have used this month. That gives you your usage for the month in one place. It is useful for keeping an eye on your plan limit.

One account, on your phone and your computer

You can sign in to Duudlaga Flow with Apple, Google or email. The account you use on iPhone works on macOS and Windows too. Use your computer at work, use your phone when you are out, and there is no second account to set up.

The app needs iOS 17.0 or newer. It runs on iPhone, and on iPad as well. Check your iOS version before you install it.

You can start on the free plan. If you need a higher usage limit, you can pick a Pro subscription inside the app. Which plan suits you comes down to how much you use it.

Settings and privacy

Settings is where you set the app up the way you like it. Every menu is in Mongolian, so you can find what you need straight away.

To turn speech into text, the audio is sent to a server. Once it has been written out, the original recording is not kept on the server. Stored content is encrypted.
